Independent Contractor - Manager: Internal Audit
Based at Head Office

Rate based: Six months Fixed Term Contract
Minimum Qualifications:
- B COM degree with Auditing as a major or equivalent
Preferred Qualification:
- Post graduate studies in Auditing CIA /CISA will be added advantage
Minimum Experience
- 5 years auditing experience of which 2 years must be at a supervisory/managerial level.
- Experience in Audit methodologies and Audit Software Applications
Key Outputs:
Reporting to the Chief Executive, the appointee will:
- Coordinate Planning, Reporting and Organisational Responsibilities
- Be responsible for Internal Audit Implementation
- Develop Audit Reporting
- Assist with Continuous Improvement
- Ensure People Management
- Conduct Internal Audits
- Execute Operations and Finance audit in the Corporation
- Manage the audit process
- Report on the outcome of the audit process
Other Requirements:
- Exposure to major enterprise resource planning systems like SAP
- Ability to build relationships while asking tough questions
- Audit techniques (work programs, tests, sampling. documentation, reports)
- IT MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, advanced Excel)
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP guidelines
- Management and leadership skills
- Analytical skills
- Above average English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Knowledge and understanding of international Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing. Principles relating to Governance, Risk Management and Public Finance Management Act.
