Salary range: R298 473 – R3 92 754 (per annum inclusive of benefits)

Minimum Qualification:

  • Degree/National Diploma in Human Resources or equivalent

Minimum Experience:

  • 1 - 2 years relevant Human Resources Administration experience
  • Experience in HR/Payroll system
  • Experience in dealing with People resourcing & benefits

 

KEY OUTPUTS

Reporting to the Resourcing & Benefits Specialist, the appointee will:

  • Administer the recruitment inbox and assist with printing of CV’s
  • Receive applications through e-mail, fax, post etc.
  • Compile an applicant database by recording all applications received for advertised positions
  • Prepare and circulate interview packs for the panel
  • Conduct reference checks for the recommended candidate(s)
  • Send regret letters to unsuccessful candidates timeously
  • Document and attend to HR related queries for Amatola Water Head Office (HR Help desk)
  • Implement and monitor a timeous response system for Help desk enquiries and feedback from managers 
  • Check monthly employee attendance registers to monitor compliance and attend to queries
  • Capture leave forms onto the HR & Payroll system
  • Maintain an ongoing communications effort with employees on HR related matters
  • Process UI 19 forms for service terminations
  • Assist the HR Department with documentation and administration pertaining to internal and external audits
  • Assist with organisational development administration

 

Other Requirements needed:

 

  • Computer Literacy essential – MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, Integrated HR and Payroll System
  • Knowledge of Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Employment Equity Act
  • Ability to interface effectively with people at all level
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Integrity & confidentiality
  • Valid unendorsed Code 8 Driver’s license
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good organisational skills
