Minimum Qualifications:
• University degree in a business related field relevant to Amatola Water
• Plus a Postgraduate qualification or Master’s Degree (NQF level 8 or 9) in Management/ Leadership/ Administration or Business

Preferred Qualifications:
• Post-graduate qualification in management
• MBA

Required Experience:
• Water sector experience
• Public sector experience
• Organisational turnaround strategy experience
• Executive management experience
• South African government policy framework experience
• Corporate governance experience

Key performance areas, will include, but will not be limited to the following:
• Support the development of Amatola Water’s Strategy, Corporate Scorecard and Business plan
• Alignment of legislative mandate with strategic mandate, mission, corporate objectives and organisation competencies
• Develop business models based for short-to-long term scenarios
• Provide support to the Office of the CE to meet the legal and corporate governance requirements
• Prepare strategic inputs to the enterprise-wide risk management framework
• Professional support services for the implementation of the organizational turnaround plan
