PLANNED SHUTDOWN AT MNYAMENI DAM FOR URGENT PIPE REPAIRS 14 – 16 OCTOBER 2024
This serves to inform residents of Keiskammahoek and surrounding areas that Amatola Water will have a planned shutdown to urgently repair a pipe leak on the raw water pipe that supplies the Masincedane Water Treatment Works (WTW) from Mnyameni Dam.
The shutdown will take place from Monday, 14 October 2024 until Wednesday, 16 October 2024.
During this period, there will be no water supply to the areas serviced by Masincedane WTW including the Keiskammahoek town and surrounding areas. Several farming communities that rely on water from Mnyameni Dam will also be affected.
