Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree in Management/ Leadership or Administration.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Honours or Master’s Degree

Minimum Experience:

  • 7 years' experience in Executive support and management
  • Organizational turnaround strategy experience
  • Change Management experience and environmental scanning
  • South African government policy and planning framework experience
  • Corporate governance experience

Key Outputs:

Reporting to the Chief Executive, the appointee will:

  • Provide expert advice to the office of the Chief Executive, as required from time to time.
  • Perform high-level quality reviews of submissions to the Chief Executive, the Board and other key stakeholders.
  • Assist in the monitoring of the implementation of crucial Board resolutions.
  • Assist with the technical assessment and review of strategic or catalytic projects.
  • Provide support in the planning and implementation of unique and strategic projects.
  • High-level coordination, consolidation, and analysis of various key inputs for the preparation and submission of reports
  • Carry out reasonable and lawful instructions as given by the Chief Executive Officer.

 

Other requirements needed:

  • Computer literacy is a requirement
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent report-writing skills
  • Strategic thinking ability
  • Strong project management and business development acumen
  • Ability to build and support management teams
  • Ability to influence and motivate others
  • Ability to communicate professionally
  • Sound stakeholder relations
  • Valid unendorsed driver’s license
