Salary: R610 005 – R823 329 (per annum inclusive of benefits)

  

Requirements:

  • Degree / National Diploma, as recognized by SAQA in Organisational Development/Public Management/ Work Study / Management Services/ Production Management or related qualification
  • Three (3) years’ compulsory experience in Organisational Development and Design as an OD Officer or OD Practitioner.
  • Valid unendorsed driver’s license

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Honours Degree / Higher National Diploma, as recognized by SAQA in Organisational Development/Public Management/ Industrial Psychology / Management Services/ Production Management or any other related Field.

 

Other requirements needed:

  • In depth understanding, interpretation and application of relevant Regulatory framework and policies
  • Ability to interpret and apply organisational development directives, policies and guidelines
  • In depth understanding of legislative circulars, e.g. DPSA
  • Understanding of departmental strategies and departmental mandate
  • Substantial knowledge of organisational development and change management
  • In depth knowledge and application of Organisational Development Models
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills
  • Presentation skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Computer literate – MS Office, Integrated HR systems

  

Key Outputs:

Reporting to the Organisational Design Specialist, the employee will:

  • Maintain and update the organisational structure
  • Render advice on the development or review of the organisational structure
  • Conduct diagnosis and draft diagnosis report Collect representative water and wastewater samples for the analytical and microbiological lab
  • Provide support with the implementation of organisational development interventions
  • Coordinate, based on the approved project plan, first level organisational culture change initiatives
  • Participate, with operational management, at shop floor level in implementing the programmes
  • Provide guidance and direction on the provision of job evaluation services
  • Interpret and guide the implementation process of the job evaluation policy through explanations, seeking common understanding of the policy provisions
  • Provide secretarial services to the chairperson of the JE and/or Moderation committee
  • Facilitate and assist with the development of job description process
  • Ensure that job descriptions are developed
  • Maintain job description database
  • Provide administrative support
  • Maintain an electronic and paper filing system for the unit
  • Prepare file covers, storage and retrieval of job evaluation, performance management, project, circular and other correspondence files
