Salary: R 453,445 - R 584,527 TCTC

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Grade 12
  • 3 Year National Diploma in Inventory and Stores Management or equivalent.

 

Minimum Experience:

  • 2 years previous stores and data processing experience.
  • Strong administrative background in order to maintain records and filling system.

 

Key Outputs:

Reporting to the Inventory Coordinator, the appointee will:

  • Process GRV, stock issues and other transactions and do all necessary paperwork and administration.
  • Capture all stock issues into the computer system in an accurate manner on daily basis.
  • GRV all goods received into BAAN system timeously and accurately in such a way that the following procedures by other departments are not delayed.
  • Ensure prompt and safe delivery of documents required by finance department to head office.
  • Assist customers (external and internal) at the counter to avoid delays.
  • Ensure appropriate stock levels and store keeping.
  • Maintain clearly demarcated stock, non-stock and picked items areas.
  • Review stock levels regularly and prepare stock replenishment advices.
  • Assist with regular cycle counting and stock–taking.
  • Practice and ensure safe working practices in the allocated Store.
  • Assist in taking the necessary ongoing safety measures in the store and participating in the safety programs.
  • Carry out reasonable and lawful instructions as given by the line manager/supervisor within the ambit of the position taking into consideration competencies and operational requirements.

 

Competencies:

  • Experience on intergraded stores computer system.
  • Computer literacy (MS word & Excel).
  • Valid unendorsed drivers licence.
  • Valid Forklift licence (3 ton)
  • Working knowledge of ERP System (BAAN)
