1 - year fixed term contract

Salary: R 455,768.00 - R 628,520.00 (per annum inclusive of benefits)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree/National Diploma in Security Management Minimum Experience: • 3-5 years’ experience of managing security services. • Extensive knowledge of security protocols and procedures • Experience in using relevant technology and equipment. • Experience in reporting and emergency planning Training Required: • PSIRA Grade A or B Certificate Key Outputs: Reporting to Fleet and Property Specialist, the appointee will: • Supervise security services to ensure the smooth and effective day-to-day running of all site based security teams, to keep management informed of incidents, and to achieve agreed levels of service and meet contractual requirements. • Manage the daily workflow, schedules, and assignments of security services staff • Liaise with AW appointed Security Services service provider • Write and submit monthly and quarterly security reports • Ensure security compliance to security regulations and policies • Manage security personnel and resources to provide adequate staffing and security at all facilities, quality of service, security contract compliance to meet operational KPIs • Develop security protocols to provide a safe and secure working environment for staff and visitors • Monitor and supervise security personnel to ensure security protocols for all assigned facilities are implemented • Develop work roster and assign work areas • Support and develop security personnel in the performance of their duties and manage poor performance as required • Coordinate training for security services personnel on AW processes and related safety and security requirements • Ensure security clearance processing for employees working on the contract • Ensure service provider and security personnel comply with Health and Safety regulations Other requirements needed: • Knowledge of relevant legislation • Excellent management and supervisory skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work with confidential and classified information. • Proficient with Microsoft Office • Valid unendorsed driver’s license • No criminal record • Customer service skills
