Since the inception of the COVID-19 pandemic in our country, Amatola Water has utilized at least close to 100% of the allocated funds towards water carting, supply and installation of water tanks. This is to ensure that communities have access to clean water, especially during the scourge of COVID-19

After rigorous discussions and following consultation with the Minister, a decision to agree to the Board’s request to be disbanded was taken by the Minister of Human Settlement, Water and Sanitation, the Honourable Lindiwe Sisulu.
